Our lawn care program of liquid and granular treatments is specifically designed for Southern Illinois. The applications that we apply to our lawns will give you a weed-free, green healthy yard.

The lawn care program consists of a balanced rate of fertilizer with each treatment. We apply a fertilizer that will help your lawn during the time of season it is applied. In the spring we apply a high nitrogen fertilizer. In the summer we apply a slow release fertilizer, which eliminates the burn factor. We come back in the fall with a balanced rate of fertilizer which will help recovery from summer stress and prepare your lawn for winter.
Froess Outdoor also will treat weeds with each treatment. We battle weeds with a combination of pre-emergent crabgrass control and post-emergent weed control. Our post-emergent controls will clean up the grassy and broadleaf weeds including nutsedge (water grass).
We also can help you battle insect activity in your lawn. Our treatments work both as a preventative before the insects have infested, and can also help clean up insect activity after the infestation. Insects we have problems with in Columbia, Waterloo, Belleville and surrounding areas are grub worms, armyworms and sod webworms.
